The Durham Family Session In Essex

This was a beautiful homely family session I did in Epping, Essex. The sun was beaming and we spent lots of time in the garden playing with the two cats. I was in heaven as I love cats!

The Garden

I arrived at their beautiful home and we ventured into the garden to find the two cats. One of them is very friendly and the other is a little shy. I am cat obsessed, so I was determined to meet the other cat. I stayed calm and sat on the grass with my family clients and out came the shy cat! He came right up to me to say hello, my clients were so shocked and impressed. I do like to think of myself as a cat whisperer sometimes.

We fed them some treats and it was really funny because I call them soups and my client called them yoghurts! We laughed so much together.

We stayed in the garden for 30 minutes, we did some portraits and then some playful shots.

Indoors

We spent the remaining 30 minutes indoors to get a variety of shots throughout the session. We did a mixture of portraits, breastfeeding shots, and then some playful ones.

Breastfeeding images are so personal and so I always ask my clients if they want them to be shared and it is totally up to you. It’s a precious memory to keep to remind you of the bond you have with your baby.
