The Trusty Family In-Home Newborn Session in Essex
This beautiful family found me on Instagram and asked me to do their in-home newborn session. I was delighted and couldn’t wait! It was warm outside so we did a mixture of inside and outside.
The Session
We started off the session with baby’s portraits as he had just had a big feed which meant he was super sleepy and settled. This is the perfect time to get his details solo. I placed him into this gorgeous changing mat I have as a prop I take with me.
Once the baby had woken up, we moved on to group portraits with mum and dad. I like to get all of these important elements done first before moving on to the playful ones.
While photographing them, I am also filming their session on my second camera for extra memories!
Once we have done the playful shots indoors, we finish the session outside in the sunshine at their local field which is a 2-minute walk from the house. It ended the session on a perfect sunny note.
